The name of The North Face lives up to the colder, harder, and relentless face of the mountains. A brand that has helped mountain climbers to reach the most difficult summits of the Himalayan mountain range but which nevertheless begins its history on a beach. More precisely, in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco, at an altitude of only 45 meters above sea level. It was there, when in 1966 two lovers of trekking decided to unleash their passion, opening a small mountaineering shop becoming a brand soon.
Today, more than 50 years after its humble opening, The North Face continues to offer a wide range of clothing, equipment and performance footwear. Challenging the limits of innovation so that we can challenge the limits of both mountain exploration and a more urban slope.
